What information do I need to file a mortgage deduction?: You will need the name of your mortgage company, the amount you borrowed, the parcel (or key) number that identifies your property, and the mortgage recorded number. Your parcel (key) number can be found on your deed or tax bill. You will need to contact the Recorder's Office at (574)235-9525 in order to the obtain the mortgage recorded number.
