    Indiana Master Naturalist Program The Indiana Master Naturalist (IMN) Program can provide you with many hands-on opportunities to learn about our Hoosier natural resources. It also provides a way for you to share that knowledge, along with your life experiences, through volunteer service to land trusts, soil and water conservation districts, state/local parks, and other natural areas.     Invasive Species Work Day - Parking Lot at St. Patrick's Let's take out the invasive uglies: honeysuckle, autumn olive, and Callery pear. Bring your own tools and dress in long pants and long sleeves. Hiking boots are recommended. Registration recommended.

    Boomers & Beyond: Trekking through Autumn *Ages: 50 & Older Boomers put on your walking shoes and discover the beauty of autumn in our parks! We'll walk the scenic park trails and enjoy the burst of colors among the fall foliage. Each walk will be approximately 50-60 minutes. Transporation provided to other sites from St. Patrick's County Park. Registration and payment are required by September 10.

    Free Fishing Day Indiana residents may fish without a state fishing license in Indiana waters. Free Fishing Days were created by the Indiana General Assembly in 1995 and are designated each year by the director of the Department of Natural Resources to promote angling as a recreational activity. Free gate fee for those fishing, just show us your fishing poles!

    Fall Color Walks No other season prompts you to pause and look around quite like fall. Instead of focusing on the destination, let's slow down and lookup. Experience nature slowly and enjoy the spectacular colors of the County Parks. Registration recommended.

    Don't Leaf Me Hangin' Discover why the leaves change color and fall from the trees each autumn. Learn how to make a simple leaf press and make a pressing to take home with you! It will be a great parent/child learning experience and an interesting activity for adults as well. Space and materials are limited. Registration and payment are required by October 5.
